Job Description

This role will assist driver with onsite segregation of waste and packaging, videotaping, and destruction of DEA Controls.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Act as a witness at customer locations where DEA controlled substances are involved.
  • Ride along with a CDL driver to assist with duties at their stops.
  • Video the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and upload video into employer system.
  • Requires up to 75% overnight travel based on routes.
  • Load containers and supplies to truck for daily service stops.
  • May assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with appropriate regulations and policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures as outlined in procedures and policies.
  • Complete paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
  • Perform related work and additional duties as requested or assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Regular contact with external customers and different levels of personnel on a daily basis.
  • Candidate must meet all requirements for handling DEA regulated waste.
  • Drive non‑DOT regulated vehicle to customer sites to witness regulated waste collection as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more years related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Regulations.
  • Proficiency with Windows based programs (i.e. Excel and Word).
  • Ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow procedures.
