Mitigation Technician

New to the Indianapolis Metro area and we are GROWING fast!
Rainbow International of Greenwood is looking for a Mitigation Technician to join our expanding team. We offer water, mold, smoke and fire home and commercial restoration and carpet cleaning services. We opened our doors serving customers in Indianapolis and the surrounding area just over a year ago and are looking to grow our team. We are on a mission to improve the lives of our customers and employees.

As a mitigation technician, you are a key team member responsible for water, mold, smoke and fire mitigation, tarping, board up, mold and carpet cleaning services according to industry specifications. Specific responsibilities include:

• Become proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage clean-up
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
• Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards and Rainbow International's process
• Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
• Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times
• Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as required
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross‑training in related positions

We are looking for an individual with high energy, motivation, excellent communication and customer service skills who will respond to clients’ needs in a professional manner day or night. This position is not an 8‑5 job; the right candidate will take charge. Desired qualifications include:

• Restoration and construction experience helpful, but not required
• Valid driver's license
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Current IICRC certifications in WRT, FRST, ASD preferred (we will pay for training for the right person)
• Strong attention to detail
• Computer literate with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applications

$13.00-$18.00 per hour
