• $22/hr - $41.50/hr based on experience

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve tractor-related issues on Hirschbach's fleet of Freightliner (predominantly), Kenworth, and Internationals.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as PMs, electrical diagnosis, air brakes, suspension and steering, aftertreatment repairs, charging system repairs, AC repairs, etc.
• Properly categorize repairs according to company standards:
  Preventative Maintenance, Components failures, Abuse, Accident, and Operations.
• Record parts and supplies used accurately, including scanning bar codes and recording consumables.
• Document repair stories to detail complaints, causes, and corrections, aiding in warranty expense recovery.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service, communicating professionally with drivers and fleet managers.
• Stay updated with industry technology and repair techniques through ongoing education.
• Assist other Technicians as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1-2 years in fleet maintenance or a Technical School Degree preferred.
• Certifications such as 609, Daimler, Cummins, and Navistar preferred.
• Experience with DTNA, Cummins Insite, Bendix, etc.
• Previous experience with Class 8 equipment repair, maintenance, and diagnosis.
• CDL A or B (preferred but not required).
• Valid Driver's License.

Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is required for effective communication and job performance.
