Summary: Keeps facility in a clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

• Break down boxes and pallets
• Use cardboard baler
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, restrooms, lunch areas and other areas
• Empties trash and garbage containers
• Additional duties may be assigned as required

• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
• Ability to read and interpret written information; write clear statements; communicate orally
• Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
• Attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism
• Must be able to manage time efficiently and work individually as well as within a team

Frequent standing and walking; use hands to handle items; occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds; requires close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision and ability to adjust focus.

Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock; noise level usually moderate.
