We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Director of New Home Sales to lead and manage our residential sales team. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, managing community openings, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, construction, and design to meet and exceed revenue goals. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the homebuilding industry, a strategic mindset, and a passion for coaching high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of new home sales consultants across multiple communities.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet division goals and revenue targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to optimize results.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and motivate sales staff to achieve high conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with marketing to launch new communities and promotions.
  • Ensure model homes and sales offices are maintained to brand standards.
  • Oversee CRM utilization and reporting to ensure accurate sales tracking and pipeline forecasting.
  • Collaborate with operations, construction, and design teams to align on product, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the sales process, customer journey, and team capabilities.
  • Serve as the face of the company with key stakeholders, including brokers, partners, and community organizations.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the homebuilding industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Lasso, or similar).
  • Ability to travel between communities regularly.

Preferred Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of the local real estate and homebuilding market.
  • Experience launching new home communities from pre-sale to closeout.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and trends.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering a five-star buying experience.
