Domestic violence prevention is community work. It happens when organizations, leaders, and neighbors across Central Indiana come together with a shared purpose: to build safety, dignity, and thriving conditions for every person. At the Domestic Violence Prevention Network (DVPN), we believe prevention is only possible when the people closest to the impact—young people, culturally rooted organizations, decision makers, service providers, and systems partners—are shaping the solutions.

The Domestic Violence Prevention Network (DVPN) serves as a community intermediary working to strengthen, connect, and equip Central Indiana’s domestic violence support ecosystem. Our work is grounded in the belief that prevention and support requires collective leadership—and must be driven through an inclusive, equitable lens that centers the communities most impacted by violence, including Black and Brown survivors, LGBTQ+ communities, youth, people with disabilities, and those navigating systemic barriers.

We partner with community organizations, youth programs/schools, and social service agencies to create shared learning opportunities, amplify community wisdom, and strengthen capacity across the field. Through advocacy, convening, and educating, DVPN helps ensure that efforts across the region are connected, coordinated, and reflective of the values and lived experiences of our community.

As we enter our next chapter, DVPN is seeking a visionary and relational Executive Director to lead the organization into its next phase of growth, stability, and impact.

The Executive Director is the chief executive and strategic leader of DVPN. This role oversees the administration, finances, programs, and overall health of the organization, while championing DVPN’s mission across the community. The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors.

• Develop and execute organizational strategy aligned with mission and goals.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Lead and develop a high‑performance staff culture and team.
• Drive fundraising efforts to support sustainability and growth.
• Maintain financial stewardship, budgeting, and monitoring financial health.
• Engage with the community, partners, and stakeholders.
• Build and nurture partnership relationships across the ecosystem.
