Location: Rockport

American Service Group (ASG) is part of American Elevator Group (AEG), the largest independent elevator service company in North America, consisting of a collection of well-established elevator service companies operating throughout the United States. Backed by Arcline Investment Management, AEG has a significant footprint in the elevator industry and is rapidly growing. We are looking for an Office Manager to work out of the Evansville/Rockport, Indiana area.

Summary

Reporting to the General Manager, the Office Manager plays a crucial role in the day-to-day execution of administrative tasks. This position holds responsibilities including but not limited to customer invoicing, weekly payroll, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and provide comprehensive ownership for the customer invoicing process.
  • Process payroll, including providing oversight for the time & attendance of employees.
  • Serve as point of contact/liaison between business and safety consortiums, including AEG Safety Team.
  • Track compliance, including but not limited to notification and submission of licenses, permits, inspections, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 2 years of related experience required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to establish strong relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
Work Environment & Hazards
  • Much of this job will be in a general office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
Special Physical Demands
  • This is a sedentary role; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend/stand, as necessary.
Work Contact Group
  • Significant contact with customers and employees.
  • Significant contact with AEG’s Finance department.
  • Moderate contact with AEG’s Human Resources department.
