We are expanding our operations and seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Site Manager.
The Site Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer relations, implementing robust safety and compliance measures, and driving operational efficiency within our location. This role includes leadership responsibilities for all employees, equipment, and customers while upholding company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications- 3 years’ experience in transportation management.
- Proven track record in managing CDL class A drivers
. - Strong understanding of operations, hours of service regulations, and DOT State Regulations within the transportation industry.
- Familiarity with People Net OBC, TMW Suite, and Microsoft Office products preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows-based programs, MS Word, and Excel
.
- Lead a fleet of 25+ local drivers to ensure on-time performance and maximize productivity.
- Oversee daily operations including Safety & Compliance, Customer Service, Vehicle Maintenance, and Driver performance
. - Optimize routes and ensure timely delivery of loads.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
- Foster positive relationships with employees and customers.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and communicate organizational changes effectively.
- Enforce company safety policies and conduct regular safety training.
- Perform monthly safety checks and ensure adherence to regulations.
- Manage preventative maintenance for all assigned equipment.
- Record and address collisions, injuries, and equipment damage promptly.
- Maintain optimal staffing levels and provide ongoing training and development.
- Collaborate with corporate and field offices to uphold mutual trust and support.
- Exceed customer expectations through exceptional service.
- Assist in recruitment, training, and development of staff.
- Manage progressive discipline and terminations in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct annual reviews and increases
. - Track and approve employee time off.
- Review and approve billing and invoices.
- Oversee weekly payroll processing.
3 - Manage location Vendor P.O.’s and expense reports.
- Attend company meetings and maintain systems.
- Ensure safety and security of equipment and tools.
- Conduct monthly safety audits and maintain OSHA 300 log.
- Visit customers and complete driver ride-alongs.
- Competitive salary range $75,000 - $85,000 per year DOE.
