As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll directly shape the reliability, safety, and performance of facilities that support healthcare delivery and community services.

** Principal Objective
** The Maintenance Supervisor oversees all activities related to the upkeep, repair, and performance of assigned buildings and physical assets. This includes supervising the maintenance team, coordinating daily operations, managing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position does require travel from the Indianapolis area up to northern parts of Indiana.  The goal: create safe, clean, well-functioning environments for tenants, clients, employees, and visitors.

** Essential Functions**###
** Leadership & Team Management
*** Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff.
* Schedule and assign daily tasks, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
* Provide technical guidance and support to technicians in troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues.###
** Facility Maintenance & Repair Oversight
*** Oversee routine and preventative maintenance for building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule.
* Respond to emergency repair requests and coordinate appropriate action to reduce downtime.
* Conduct regular facility safety inspections and recommend corrective actions.###
** Vendor & Contractor Coordination
*** Coordinate specialized repairs and services with external contractors.
* Ensure work is completed according to standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
* Collaborate with vendors on large-scale facility improvement projects.###
** Safety & Compliance
*** Ensure staff follow safe work practices, use proper protective equipment, and comply with OSHA standards and building codes.
* Maintain a safe working environment, identifying hazards and implementing corrective measures.###
** Operations, Budgeting & Reporting
*** Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
* Assist in preparing and managing departmental budgets and capital plans.
* Track expenses and support cost-effective purchasing and maintenance solutions.
* Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, maintenance activities, and system performance.
* Generate reports for management to support operational decisions.###
** Project Support & Cross-Department Collaboration
*** Assist with planning and execution of renovation or improvement projects.
