Group Coordinator Lead – Job Details
Shift: 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Job OverviewResponsible for assigning work schedules, training associates, and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day‑to‑day direction and guidance to the work group, ensuring daily workloads are met.
Core Responsibilities- Lead and manage the workflow and work‑duty allocation for team members within the assigned department of the facility, including Put‑Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping/Pack‑out, Staging, and Order Selecting areas.
- Serve as a working lead, working alongside the team while being the initial point of contact for associates.
- Conduct training for new associates.
- Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
- Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
- Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
- Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
- Report unsafe conditions to the supervisor if they cannot be self‑corrected.
- Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.
- Minimum 3+ years in a progressive role within a supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment as a Team Lead, Workflow Planner, or similar.
- Direct reporting line to the Supervisor with responsibilities for training associates, monitoring production, providing constructive feedback, onboarding new associates, and assisting the Supervisor to maintain high customer standards.
- Minimum 6 months of experience operating stand‑up material handling equipment, such as a stand‑up Order Picker and Reach Truck. First preference will be given to applicants with this experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment (e.g., Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit‑down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack) is also a plus.
- 6-12 months of warehouse experience.
- 6-12 months of forklift operation experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift training program within the first 30 days of employment (preferred).
