Job DetailsWe are seeking a Director of Accounting to lead corporate accounting and transformation efforts across a complex, multi‑entity environment. This role will oversee consolidated financial reporting, drive process improvements, and partner directly with leadership across the organization. This is a high‑visibility leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
Key Responsibilities- Accounting & Financial Leadership
- Lead consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities
- Ensure timely, accurate, and GAAP‑compliant financial statements
- Oversee and improve month‑end and year‑end close processes
- Transformation & Process Improvement (Core Focus)
- Drive accounting transformation initiatives across business units
- Standardize processes in a decentralized environment
- Lead automation, systems, and technology enhancements
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and data‑driven tools
- Business Partnership
- Partner with executive leadership and business owners
- Support decision‑making through financial insights and analysis
- Oversee accounting functions across multiple subsidiaries
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a team of ~5 accounting professionals
- Build scalable processes to support continued organizational growth
- Required
- CPA designation
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Public accounting background (Big 4 or similar)
- Experience in multi‑entity or complex organizational structures
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
- Preferred
- Experience with ERP implementations or system upgrades
- Exposure to automation, AI, or advanced analytics in accounting
- Proven ability to lead process improvement or transformation initiatives
- Strategic thinker who can also execute hands‑on when needed
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence across business units
- Someone who thrives in a complex, fast‑moving environment
- Leadership mindset with a focus on building and improving systems
