Position: Central Hub Team Leader
Location: New Middletown

Central Hub Team Leader

We are currently seeking a Central Hub Team Leader to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia! The Hub Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate and profitable delivery of shipments to customers through effective management of all inbound operations at the Depot.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Customer Service Management

• Maintain good working relationships
• Co-ordination, discussion and communication
• Assist to keep performance and meet target
• Problem shooting and Improvement

Stakeholder Management

• Manage parcel inbound and outbound process.
• Planning in sortation process and manpower.
• Identifying and resolving problems in timely manners.
• Assigning tasks and role play to staffs and part timer daily.
• Ensure adherence to the operational workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) defined for Hub operations
• Conduct daily staff briefings, including communication regarding any operational changes and etc.
• Optimize efficiency of line production by monitoring productivity and quality
• Ensure all the shipment is safe, timely and dispatch on time to the Depot.
• Handle all exception cases and communicate the same to Depot and Customer Services for resolution
• Ensure safe handling of all shipments at the Hub and report any damaged cases to the CS.
• Special Request handling as appropriated
• Keep and organize working documents in tidiness and easy to use
• Ensure safe and secure workplace and environment.
• Developing, educating and training staff.

Team Management

• Provide direction, guidance and support to employees to help them discharge their duties effectively
• Motivate, train, coach and support new and existing employees to deliver high service level to customers

Desired Skills / Qualifications

• 2 – 3 years operations experience, preferably within warehousing or logistics industry
• Good knowledge of courier / express shipment management
• People management experience as a team leader or supervisor

Minimum Education al Qualification
• Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
