Senior Community Manager

Job Type: Full‑Time – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

What You’ll Do People Leadership
  • Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals, ensuring a highly engaged team that provides a great experience for residents.
  • Process community staff payroll.
Financial Responsibility
  • Ensure collection of all monies due to the community (i.e., rent) and deposit them.
  • Process community invoices for payment.
  • Purchase and maintain adequate supplies for the community.
Community and Resident Focus
  • Maintain acceptable occupancy levels (minimum 98%).
  • Maintain positive relationships with the community owner(s) and its residents.
  • Review rental applications for approval.
Operational Excellence
  • Complete move‑out paperwork according to governing regulations.
  • Perform unit move‑out, annual, and housekeeping inspections promptly.
  • Audit all resident files and ensure they are complete and correct prior to forwarding to supervisor for review/approval.
  • Complete reports required by government agencies, administrators, or the company on time.
  • Maintain the community to company standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience:

    1+ year as a residential property manager with HUD/Section 8 experience a big plus, or 3+ years in a general manager or similar role with people leadership and process management experience.
  • Education:

    High school diploma; associate’s degree a big plus. Certifications such as COS, LIHTC, HCCP, AHM are a plus – we provide training.
  • Dependability:
    Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
  • Resident focus: A commitment to providing exceptional service to residents.
  • Operational excellence:
    Deadline‑driven with keen eye for detail, compliance and quality.
  • Technically savvy:
    Great computer skills, fluent with Microsoft Office, and experience with Yardi is a big plus.
