Role Description

The Area Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN, responsible for overseeing staffing operations across an assigned territory. In this position, the Area Manager leads and supports local teams, ensures fulfillment of client staffing needs, and maintains high standards of service delivery. Daily responsibilities include managing client accounts, monitoring performance metrics, coordinating with recruiters to meet hiring targets, and resolving operational issues.

The Area Manager will visit client locations, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and identify opportunities to expand services. This role also involves reporting on area performance, aligning local operations with company goals, and collaborating with leadership to improve processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Experience in team leadership or branch management, including supervising staff, setting expectations, and coaching for performance.
  • Background in staffing, recruitment, or workforce management, with the ability to coordinate placements and meet client hiring needs.
  • Strong client relationship and account management skills, including communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving with diverse stakeholders.
  • Operational and organizational skills, such as managing schedules, tracking performance metrics, and implementing standardized processes.
  • Ability to work on-site in Indianapolis, IN, travel within the area as needed, and adapt to a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with common office software and applicant tracking or CRM systems, and comfort working with data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, candidates, and colleagues.
  • Prior experience in multi‑site or regional management and a background in staffing or HR services is preferred; a relevant associate or bachelor’s degree is beneficial.
