Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5:00p-3:00a, based on business needs.
The Manager DC Warehouse I leads a warehouse handling annual volume up to 6.0M cases, overseeing safety, inbound/outbound, labor, facility maintenance, inventory, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration to meet financial and operational goals.
Duties & Responsibilities- Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through performance management, coaching, and training.
- Implements continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus and embodying company purpose and values.
- Performs proactive evaluation of key performance indicators such as safety performance, cost per case, inventory shrink, and cases per man‑hour, then implements productivity and cost‑saving programs.
- Leads budgeting and workforce management activities and executes all logistics functions including safety, inbound/outbound management, labor, talent development, facility maintenance, and customer service.
- Initiates cross‑functional collaboration through regular meetings and intentional interaction with partners in Franchise Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Safety/Risk, Human Resources, Employee Relations, etc.
- Supports sales by daily inventory monitoring to ensure product availability and coordinates with supply chain analysts to reduce out‑of‑stocks while minimizing inventory days on hand.
- Maintains asset value through proactive repair and upgrade administration, prioritizing facility security, appearance, and operational functions.
- Manages entire facility regarding security, appearance, and operative functions.
- Strong leadership and strong cross‑functional collaborative agility.
- Problem‑solving and financial acumen.
- Ability to build a strong culture, create a strong safety environment, manage through tough and complex situations, think proactively.
- Experience hiring, training, and developing talent for the organization.
- Experience managing unique and complex situations in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5 to 7 years of work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering.
