Join our mission to deliver patient-centered care across Memphis and the Mid-South. As Clinical Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for assigned departments or units, ensuring excellence in 24/7 clinical care delivery and advancing organizational goals for patient outcomes, service excellence, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Operations Leadership- Provide 24/7 accountability for assigned service areas, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety, clinical outcomes, and service excellence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement performance improvement strategies based on clinical and satisfaction metrics.
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff and Patient Care Coordinators (PCCs), fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
- Coach PCCs in effective leadership and team management to optimize care delivery.
- Drive associate engagement and retention through positive work environments and recognition of performance.
- Oversee staffing models, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective workforce utilization.
- Participate in annual budget planning and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to meet fiscal targets.
- Utilize data from financial and clinical systems to inform strategic growth and service development.
- Maintain regulatory and accreditation readiness across all service areas.
- Proactively identify and address environmental and equipment needs to support safe, efficient patient care.
- Lead implementation of new technologies and operational projects to enhance care delivery and efficiency.
- Serve as a role model for nursing professionalism, ethics, and clinical excellence.
- Pursue advanced certifications and participate in professional organizations at local and regional levels.
- Champion evidence-based practice and foster a culture of lifelong learning and professional growth.
- Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing - Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Nursing
- 3-5 years in an acute care environment
- Required:
Registered Nurse (TN) – Tennessee Board of Nursing - Required:
Basic Life Support – American Heart Association - Preferred:
Nursing Administration board certification or national certification in the clinical specialty
- Strategic leadership, including strategic thinking, change management, and team empowerment
- Operational agility to manage multiple priorities and complex workflows
- Data-driven decision making using clinical and operational data
- Technology proficiency:
Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with healthcare information systems and analytics platforms
Medium work: exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 25 lbs. of force frequently. Good balance and coordination, close visual acuity, frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact, exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials. Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
