Role OverviewAs a VP, Projects, you will play a crucial role in driving outstanding project management and delivering exceptional results. The position requires inspiring and leading a dynamic team of project managers while ensuring smooth project execution.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of project managers, providing mentorship, guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope and deliverables, ensuring alignment with clients’ goals.
- Develop and implement project management strategies and innovative methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Champion a culture of collaboration by engaging with cross‑functional teams locally and globally.
- Promote inclusivity and belonging, supporting wellbeing and a diverse workforce.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnering with the business development team to drive growth and expand client relationships.
- Lead sales and cross‑selling meetings, develop client pursuit strategies, pitch effectively, secure new business and execute projects across the PDS platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering, architecture).
- 10+ years of experience in project management within the commercial real estate industry.
- Strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Proven experience in leading and managing high‑performing teams, with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a demonstrated ability to drive process improvements.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing project budgets and financial reporting.
- Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long‑term relationships.
- Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, focused on delivering innovative solutions.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, project management).
- Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, Six Sigma.
- Experience working in a global organization and collaborating with multicultural teams.
- Knowledge of industry‑leading project management software and technologies.
- Proven experience in business development and securing new project opportunities.
- Ability to travel as needed.
