- Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals, ensuring a highly engaged team provides a great experience for residents.
- Process community staff payroll.
- Ensure collection of all monies due to the community.
- Process community invoices for payment.
- Purchase and maintain adequate supplies for the community.
- Maintain acceptable occupancy levels (minimum 98%).
- Maintain positive relationships with the community owner(s) and residents.
- Review rental applications for approval.
- Complete move‑out paperwork according to governing regulations.
- Perform unit move‑out, annual, and housekeeping inspections on time.
- Audit resident files and ensure they are complete and correct before forwarding to supervisor.
- Timely completion of reports required by government agencies, administrators or the company.
- Responsible for maintaining the community to company standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Experience:
1+ year as a residential property manager with HUD/Section 8 experience is a big plus, or 3 years in a general manager position with exceptional people and process leadership. - Education:
High school diploma or associate’s degree is a plus. Certifications such as COS, LIHTC, HCCP, AHM are valued. - Dependability:
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic. - Resident focus:
Commitment to exceptional service for residents. - Operational excellence:
Deadline driven with keen eye for detail, compliance and quality. - Technically savvy:
Great computer skills, fluent with Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi is a plus.
