Position Purpose
Supervise students who are assigned to in‑school suspension.
Essential Job Functions- Take accurate attendance each period.
- Supervise students in ISS during lunch.
- Send for students who are absent from ISS.
- Report absences from ISS to Deans.
- Check students in and out of ISS.
- Obtain assignments for all students while in ISS.
- Return homework to teachers on a timely basis.
- Assist in data entry of referral forms.
- Keep individual files on each student who has reported to ISS.
- Maintain a time of arrival log.
- Do not leave students unattended.
- Must be firm, fair, and consistent.
- Communicate with Assistant Principals in charge of discipline.
- Other duties as assigned.
Use standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copier and fax machines, calculator, and telephone.
Travel RequirementsTravel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Pay Rate$15.75 per hour
Work Schedule7.5 hours per day, 182 days per year.

Requires the ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds (often), carry up to 25 pounds (seldom), work at a desk, conference table or in meetings of various configurations (very frequent), read printed matter such as laws, codes and policies (very frequent), communicate effectively (very frequent), operate job‑related equipment (very frequent), reach in all directions (seldom).

EducationHigh School Diploma or GED.
ExperiencePrevious experience is preferred.
