Deputy Pool Manager
The deputy pool manager supports the pool manager in the organization and management of the operational pool operations. The focus of the job is on daily operations on site, as well as the leadership and coordination of the pool team. The role takes responsibility for a safe, customer-oriented, and economical pool operation.
DutiesSupport of Pool Management
- Support of pool management in all operational matters
- Participation in the personnel deployment and shift planning of the pool team
- Taking over organizational tasks in daily business
- Representing the pool management in their absence
- Support in employee interviews, training, and onboarding
- Participation in the implementation of service instructions and operational standards
Operational Pool Management
- Participation in shift duty
- Supervision of the pool operation
- Carrying out water rescue measures and first aid services
- Ensuring safety and order in the entire pool area
- Carrying out cleaning and disinfection work
- Support in events and special actions
Leadership and Organization
- Professional guidance of employees in the pool team
- Issuing work instructions in the ongoing operation
- Monitoring the execution of work and compliance with operational requirements
- Support in the coordination of daily work processes
- Point of contact for employees during the shift
Administration and Documentation
- Processing of operational documentation
- Support in statistics, evaluations, and reports
- Occasional office days for processing organizational tasks
Professional Prerequisites
- Completed training as a specialist for pool operations (m/f/d)
- At least 3 years of professional experience after successful completion of training
- Valid lifeguard certificate
- Secure handling of common MS Office applications

- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Organizational Classification
The deputy pool manager is directly subordinate to the pool manager and supports them in the management of the pool team. In the event of their absence, they take over the operational responsibility for the pool operation.
