Job Summary

Rite Rug, a large, privately-owned flooring retailer, is seeking an energetic and strategic Market Manager to lead our regional operations, drive business growth, and enhance market presence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee sales, business development, and operational excellence across your assigned territory. Your leadership will inspire teams, optimize processes, and ensure profitability while fostering strong customer relationships.

Duties
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market share and increase revenue within the region
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise sales teams to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Manage profit and loss responsibilities, ensuring financial health and operational efficiency
  • Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and proactive outreach
  • Oversee project management initiatives aimed at process improvements and operational excellence
  • Implement sales strategies that align with company goals, including training and performance management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance customer experience, and boost profitability
Experience
  • Proven management experience with a track record of leading successful teams in a sales or business development environment
  • Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising staff and managing performance
  • Knowledge of profit & loss management, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Experience in project management and process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Prior experience in sales or business development roles is highly desirable
