Responsibilities
  • Manage center budget, including income targets and expense control, in collaboration with the Executive Director.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Program Directors and center staff.
  • Set and communicate a clear vision aligned with YMCA mission and goals.
  • Evaluate existing programs and lead development of new initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Provide leadership for youth, teen, outreach, and member engagement/retention initiatives.
  • Guide program development, policies, and committees to align with center and association goals.
  • Support strategic planning, marketing, public relations, and promotional efforts.
  • Lead annual campaign efforts and build community engagement through events and partnerships.

    Oversee facility operations, scheduling, equipment, and financial assistance processes.
  • Ensure staff development, reporting/ administration, and integration of YMCA core values across all operations.
  • Perform other duties/assignments as needed at the YMCA.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience.
  • Ability to develop and maintain quality programs.
  • Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
  • Must possess knowledge in fiscal management, program planning, member services and sales, personnel management, training and evaluation, public relations, and fundraising.
  • Completion of all position-specific and required YMCA training within established deadlines.
