About the Role

As one of the largest and fastest-growing franchises within the PMI network, we manage a robust portfolio of residential and multifamily properties across Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the President of Multifamily Property Management will take full operational and financial ownership. Backed by significant capital and a clear growth trajectory, you will architect a comprehensive property management platform from the ground up while driving divisional strategy, P&L performance, and team growth.

In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with corporate leadership and collaborate cross-functionally with state Vice Presidents and the President of Residential to seamlessly centralize existing multifamily assets into a single, specialized operation.

Compensation

Base Salary: $75,000, negotiable based on experience.

Incentive Structure:
High upside revenue sharing model featuring a flat component plus a percentage of the multifamily pillar's gross revenue offering uncapped financial upside that grows directly alongside the portfolio you build.

Responsibilities for President

You’ll take ownership of an existing multifamily portfolio of approximately 600 units, with five core priorities:

  • Stabilize and maintain the current portfolio – Apply multifamily expertise to all owner relationships, consistently executing the elevated financial reporting, communication cadences, and operational rigor required by multifamily investors.
  • Design and Operate – Help pioneer a standalone multifamily Operations program;
Establishing the foundational system, workflows, and standards required to run multifamily management as a unique discipline that runs along side of our property management playbook.
  • Strategic migration – Lead the multifamily operations away from regional leadership individuals and teams. You will collaborate directly with Vice Presidents and the President of Residential to centralize asset management into a single, dedicated division, ensuring a seamless handoff with zero disruption to property owners.
  • Collaborating with the sales team – You will be responsible for driving portfolio growth and executive strategic development. While not responsible for directly sourcing, you will actively support the pipeline by driving strategic market positioning, executing underwriting reviews, and managing the seamless onboarding of all new multifamily accounts.
  • Comprehensive risk assessments – You will oversee and execute on prospective acquisitions, analyzing the operational risk profile of pipeline assets, proactively flagging major red flags such as deferred capital expenditure liabilities, ownership instability, and self-management vulnerabilities prior to close.
Qualifications
  • Extensive hands‑on experience managing multifamily assets, with a sophisticated understanding of the specialized financial reporting, capital planning, turn cycles, and investor relations that distinguish multifamily from single‑family operations.
  • Proven "Program Builder" track record: A history of building, scaling, or professionalizing operational programs from the ground up, rather than simply managing existing legacy frameworks.
  • Demonstrated agility collaborating across diverse business units, including sales/business development, maintenance operations, and executive leadership teams.
  • Hands‑on experience utilizing modern property management platforms; familiarity with Rentvine is highly preferred, though experience with industry standards like Yardi, Real Page, or App Folio is welcome.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel throughout Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois to support portfolio needs and asset performance.
  • Active Real Estate license in current state you live in is a plus, but not required.
