Global Product Planning Lead – Molecular and Pathology ReagentsAs the Global Product Planning Lead, you will lead a team of global product planners, balancing strategic inventory targets with high-performance operational execution to ensure life‑saving diagnostics reach patients when and where they are needed most.
Responsibilities- Provide direct leadership and strategic direction to a team of 6 global product planners, nurturing their confidence and professional growth.
- Translate complex market signals into synchronized manufacturing plans, coordinating production volumes directly with manufacturing sites worldwide.
- Lead divisional Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, fostering collaboration, shared accountability, and robust long‑term volume alignment.
- Oversee critical bottleneck resolution and mitigation processes during unpredictable supply chain or geopolitical disruptions to secure global supply continuity.
- Act as a key strategic partner to lifecycle teams, procurement, and functional heads to smoothly manage product launches, changeovers, and regulatory transitions.
- Define global inventory objectives and safety‑stock recommendations across international hubs, balancing transport strategies (sea vs. air) to maximize efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
- Master’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related business field.
- 7 to 10 years of deep experience in international logistics and direct people leadership.
- Proven ability to build bridges across complex global networks, resolving competing stakeholder interests with diplomacy and collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience analyzing complex data structures and metrics to derive actionable insights and drive process improvements (ideally using methodologies such as Six Sigma).
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting highly specialized data and strategic forecasts to international functions and executive leadership teams.
- Business‑level fluency in English; excellent interpersonal skills to harmonize workflows across diverse, cross‑functional global settings.
