Area Business Manager - Northern US & Canada
The primary purpose of the Area Business Manager is to provide strategic leadership and drive revenue growth within a designated geographical business area as a key member of the regional management team, reporting directly to the Commercial Vice President. The Area Business Manager executes business strategies, oversees growth initiatives, manages key customer contracts and relationships, and ensures alignment with customer business objectives while maintaining operational excellence across commercial, supply chain, and site operations.

- Strategic Planning:
Demonstrates exemplary leadership and fosters a culture centered on strong customer relationships, innovative solutions, commercial discipline, and commitment to health and safety excellence. - Business Development & Contract Management (Commercial Excellence):
Viewed by the customer as a business partner who is sought out and consulted on strategic business issues. - Industry, Product and Technical Knowledge (Operational Excellence):
Effectively integrates and delivers solutions and technology to address a customer's specific operational challenges within the designated business area. - Team Development:
Ensure that appropriate work arrangements are in place to provide a flexible workforce, by direct involvement in negotiation of these arrangements.
What you will bring:
- Advanced knowledge of internal processes and policies, or ability to rapidly acquire same.
- International experience preferred.
- Extensive line management in a variety of roles and environments.
- Well developed mentoring and coaching skills.
- Stakeholder management, including C-level: ability to operate effectively at both the strategic and operational level.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, including prioritization, planning, task delegation, and coordination across multiple teams.
- Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships.
- Financial acumen & budgeting experience.
- Able to build structure in ambiguous situations and establish best practices.
Your qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
- Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.

Compensation:
Salary Range - $ 139,575 – 195,405 USD Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan (Salary to be determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
