Senior Project Scheduler

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler for an Onsite position with a Major Utility Company located in Wheatfield, IN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is focused on increasing proficiency in schedule development, analysis, and integrated cost and schedule forecasting. The ideal candidate will utilize quantitative risk management tools and techniques, such as P6 scheduling software, to predict project schedule and cost performance, enabling timely corrective, preventive, and predictive actions for large industrial capital projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop qualitative and risk-managed integrated project baselines to measure project performance
• Apply integrated objective risk management to project baselines to optimize project risk responses
• Orchestrate contract commercial management, conduct contract performance assessment, and manage change forecasting
• Review and coordinate the use of project management guidelines, standards, processes, and tools
• Direct and tailor schedule management processes and tools to advance schedule performance
• Forecast schedule performance and schedule variance (SV) and identify opportunities to avoid negative variances
• Perform standard and advanced project schedule reporting for stakeholders
• Serve as a project subject matter expert to the project management team on proposed corrective, preventive, and predictive actions

Requirements:

• High School diploma and four years of experience working as a scheduler; OR High School diploma and six years of construction/engineering experience with two of those years working as a project scheduler; OR Bachelor's Degree and four years of experience working as a project scheduler
• Familiarity and a high degree of proficiency with P6 scheduling software
• Integrated knowledge base in project scope-schedule-cost and risk-quality management
• Integrated comprehension and application of project management guidelines, standards, and processes
• Proficiency in risk and quality management tools and techniques
• Leadership skills to inspire and motivate project stakeholders
• Proficiency in spreadsheet development, utilization, and manipulation
• Valid driver's license

Desired skills:

• Bachelor's Degree and four years of experience as a project scheduler
• Advanced ability to plan, schedule, develop, assess, and analyze project progress
• Ability to read and interpret schedules and proficiency in schedule database development
• Experience in large industrial Capital Project environments

Pay range: up to $70.00 per hour
