Description

R  Alliance, Inc. is seeking a visionary and community-focused CEO to provide comprehensive administrative services and strategic leadership. The CEO will be responsible for the overall execution of organization programs in four (4) separate non-profit agencies that include R  Alliance, Inc, Blue River Services, Inc, Rauch, Inc., and the Rauch Foundation, ensuring they deliver maximum benefit to the community while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

This role requires an experienced leader who can balance firm policy administration with an open-minded visionary approach to program development and community needs.

Programs offered within these agencies include a variety of programs for adults with developmental disabilities, First Steps, Housing, Public Transportation, day care, after school programs, Victim Services and others.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Board Relations
  • Develop and monitor all program activities in alignment with the Board of Directors' policies and the organization's stated purpose.
  • Act as a vital link to the Board, keeping them informed of changing community needs and recommending modifications to programs and policies as necessary.
  • Attend all Board and committee meetings, providing expert counsel and follow-through on assignments.
Operational & Financial Management
  • Plan and prepare the annual budget in coordination with the Finance Committee, adhering strictly to planned usage of funds.
  • Maintain comprehensive financial, personnel, and administrative records while instituting appropriate management controls.
  • Oversee the quality of all contracted services and coordinate a cohesive calendar of events affecting the organization.
Staff Leadership & Development
  • Select, employ, and supervise professional staff, office personnel, and paraprofessionals.
  • Foster a culture of professional growth by providing opportunities for staff participation in policy formation and implementing skill-utilization programs.
  • Maintain a firm but receptive leadership style, encouraging suggestions from staff while upholding organizational standards.
Community Liaison & Public Relations
  • Serve as the face of each non-profit entity, participating in local, regional, and national committees to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Enhance the organization’s image through active participation in community events, even outside of standard administrative hours.
  • Assist the Board in documenting budgetary needs for various funding sources and cooperating with agencies to ensure adequate program support.

Georgetown, IN

Requirements

Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business Administration or related field required, with a Master's degree preferred
  • 7-10 yeas of progressively responsible leadership experience in human services or nonprofit management.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial management, board relations, compliance, and staff leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent communication skills required with the proven ability to communicate in a positive, respectful and professional manner in all situations.
  • Ability to travel to all agency facilities in Indiana, and to travel to Indianapolis on a frequent basis.
  • Proven ability to manage complex budgets and work with funding agencies.
  • Deep knowledge of literature and trends regarding programs for people with disabilities and all other service programs offered by our agencies.
