How Your Role Makes a Difference

  • Ensure staff receive all necessary training and tools to complete their work by providing supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations for program managers and staff;
  • Ensure alignment with organizational mission, best practices, and regulatory standards;
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of social service programs to meet community needs and funding requirements;
  • Support with developing, monitoring, and managing program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource allocation by tracking and analyzing expenditures, billing, and revenue to meet agency and grant compliance requirements;
  • Plan, participate or facilitate regular community network and stakeholder meetings, representing the organization at local, regional, and state-level meetings and coalitions;
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, schools, and government agencies;
  • Oversee data collection, performance measurement, and outcome evaluation for all programs;
  • Ensure all programs meet licensing, accreditation, and grant requirements through implementing quality improvement initiatives and monitoring adherence to agency policies and procedures;
  • Develop, implement, and monitor sustainability and strategic growth plans, identifying and pursuing new funding opportunities and partnerships to expand program capacity;
  • Work collaboratively with community and stakeholders to develop a system of care for clients to address needs and support;
  • Oversee and participate in outreach and public awareness campaigns to increase understanding of available services and reduce stigma related to behavioral health;
  • Essential job responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of each program/department;
  • May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany sponsored event;
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study with 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Master’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Human Services, or equivalent field of study from an accredited college preferred;
  • At least five (5) years of experience in project management functions, including supervising staff, managing budgets, and overseeing program operations;
  • Prior supervisory experience;
  • Proven knowledge and expertise in social services, behavioral health, and family support systems, including policies, regulations, and community resources;
  • Strong leadership, program management, and strategic planning skills;
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Must be reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks;
  • Exercise a high level of confidentiality;
  • Work well under pressure and adaptable to change;
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and HRIS systems (Ulti Pro preferred);
  • Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany;
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage;
