Bring the right students through the door
Every student who walks onto Atterbury's campus started with someone who found them, believed in them, and got them here. That's your team. As OA Supervisor, you'll lead the department that recruits students, builds the community partnerships that fuel enrollment, and manages each student's case from first contact through their arrival - setting them up to actually succeed once they're here, not just show up.
Whatyou'll do
- Lead the team. Supervise and manage the OA Department: hire, coach, evaluate, and when needed, discipline staff in partnership with the OA/CTS Director. Fill vacancies fast and keep the team accountable for quality work.
- Develop your people. Train new staff, build career paths for current ones, recognize what's working, and address performance issues before they become problems.
- Build the pipeline. Develop community partnerships that drive enrollment, education, employment, Career Technical Training, and Work-Based Learning opportunities.
- Represent the Center. Be the face of Job Corps in the community - build real relationships with elected officials and community partners, and protect the Center's reputation.
- Own the OA Phase. Oversee case management from recruitment through arrival, so every student lands on campus ready to enroll and succeed.
- Protect the data. Ensure strict confidentiality and integrity of student information - no exceptions.
- Drive performance. Keep the department's contribution to DOL and company performance goals on target.
- Model the standard. Live the Career Success Standards and treat students with respect and accountability.
Plus other duties as assigned, including occasional coverage in other departments at the direction of the Center Director, Center Duty Officer, or Shift Manager.
Qualifications:- Associates Degree Required. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
