The Statewide Asset Management Director for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) leads strategic investment planning for Indiana's Interstate Highway System and manages roadside assets. This role directs a team to develop engineering specifications, policies, and procedures with statewide impact, while integrating emerging technologies like AI-based asset identification and connected vehicle data. The Director also enhances resiliency planning, emergency response coordination, and modernizes GIS functions and data governance.
Keyqualifications:
- Valid Professional Engineer License issued by the State of Indiana
- At least five (5) years of supervisory and/or management experience in operations or related discipline
- Knowledge of information technology systems and applications
- High level of analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries and establish effective working relationships
