The Chief Executive Officer leads Women4

Change Indiana, a nonpartisan, statewide nonprofit C3/C4 organization whose mission is to equip Hoosiers to engage in democracy to improve outcomes for women through community-building and advocacy.

This role works in close partnership with a Board of Directors and wears many hats – strategic, operational, financial, and programmatic – to advance the organization’s mission, ensuring alignment between long-term vision, programmatic impact, and organizational sustainability. This leader is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and leading a small, dedicated staff, fostering a culture grounded in equity and inclusion and reflecting the organization’s values.

Change’s primary public representative, the CEO elevates organizational visibility across Indiana, engages stakeholders, strengthens partnerships, and positions the organization as a trusted voice on issues affecting women, their families, and their communities. With strong business judgment, the CEO aligns financial resources with strategic priorities, ensuring both mission impact and long-term viability. Working with the Board, staff, and key stakeholders, the CEO implements Women4

Change’s strategic priorities, evaluates outcomes, and adapts to evolving opportunities and challenges.

They are a clear communicator, skilled relationship-builder, and credible public voice. This leader demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and the ability to unify diverse perspectives around shared goals.

Strategic Leadership and Organizational Vision

In partnership with the Board of Directors, the CEO helps to define and advance a clear, compelling vision for Women4

Change that reflects its mission and values. This leader develops and executes strategic plans, establishes measurable goals, and ensures accountability through regular evaluation and reporting. The CEO drives organizational growth by securing funding and increasing organizational visibility and engagement, while balancing mission impact with financial sustainability.

Resource Development and Financial Stewardship
The CEO executes comprehensive fundraising efforts, expanding and diversifying revenue across individual, corporate, and foundation sources. This includes cultivating major donors, strengthening existing relationships, and identifying new funding opportunities. The CEO ensures sound financial management, oversees budgeting processes, and aligns resources with strategic priorities to support long-term organizational health.
