Role Overview:

The Indiana Child Support Bureau (CSB) is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Division Director for the IV-D Program Administration Division. This role oversees Program Support, Financial Quality Assurance, Contracts and Compliance, and Business Initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, excellent judgment, and deep child support program knowledge to ensure program integrity, efficiency, and forward momentum.

This role requires an deep knowldege of Title IV-D legislation and services.

This is an onsite role in the Central DCS Offices at the Indiana Government Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $93,002.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring trends and levels of monthly reimbursable IV-D expenditures. Ensuring proper documentation is maintained during county visits.
• Reviewing County IV-D expenditures for federal eligibility.
• Ensuring incentive funds are maintained in proper accounts, expenditures are reported, and funds are used solely for IV-D purposes.
• Ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines including CFR, the Social Security Act, and OMB 45 CFR 75, and communicating needed corrections to counties.
• Identifying grant opportunities.
• Evaluating special projects aimed at program performance improvement.
• Providing data analysis support to leadership.
• Providing clear guidance based on analysis of federal and state regulations, rules, and policies.
• Completion of data reliability audits and self-assessment reviews.
• Maintaining the Child Support State Plan.
• Reviewing pending legislation impacting the program.
• Timely and accurately responding to inquiries and correspondence from program participants.
• Supervising the Contracts and Compliance unit responsible for managing MOUs, DSAs, and contractual agreements for the Child Support Bureau.
• Providing strategic leadership for the IV-D Program Administration Division, ensuring alignment with statewide child support program goals.
• Supervising and supporting teams responsible for Program Support, Financial Quality Assurance audits, Contracts and Compliance, and Business Initiatives.
• Making high-impact program decisions using a big-picture perspective and sound judgment.
