Shift & Compensation: Third Shift (9:30 PM – 6:00 AM) – $23–$27 per hour plus $0.75 per hour shift differential. Mandatory overtime as needed. $2,000 sign‑on bonus (details provided during interview).
Position Overviewdormakaba is seeking a Machinist II to perform machine setups, tool changes, and adjustments as necessary.
What You Will Do- Operate machine according to standard operating instructions.
- Document and inspect quality of work per Quality Assurance Inspection Procedure (QAIP).
- Use micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and comparator.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Extensive experience operating, setting up, and performing tool changes.
- Understanding of shop math, blueprint reading, and Geometric Dimensional and Tolerance (GD&T).
- Ability to perform advanced quality inspections.
- Professional communication skills.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and use close vision, with or without correction.
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of SAP or other enterprise systems.
- Understanding of similar quality‑control concepts.
- Computer proficiency and lean skills.
