  • Lead and support hourly production employees during assigned shifts
  • Write daily shift reports summarizing production results, issues, and corrective actions
  • Conduct quality checks and verify adherence to manufacturing and safety standards
  • Review timecards and ensure accurate payroll submission for team members
  • Analyze production data, time studies, and workflow to improve efficiency
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and process documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams to resolve issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the paint shop

Required Qualifications

  • OR High School Diploma with 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Exposure to robotics and automation (Fanuc experience is a plus)
  • Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Leadership or supervisory experience on a production floor
  • Familiarity with paint operations, PTED, or body/assembly processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a unionized environment (UAW experience not required)

Why This Role?

  • Hands-on exposure to end-to-end vehicle paint operations
  • Opportunity to work with advanced robotic manufacturing systems
  • Excellent experience for engineers looking to grow in manufacturing leadership
