Job Description

Job Summary /Objective:
As a Process Support Technician I at Southwire, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting daily process audits, performing various quality tests, supporting production employees and supervisors, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires constant engagement and movement throughout the facility to monitor processes, identify issues, and provide timely support.

Key Responsibilities
1. Perform process audits daily for each production line, including those at the Bremen East, Bremen Main Fab, and High Temp plants, ensuring compliance with quality systems and best practices.
2. Audit production records daily, checking compliance to the Bill of Materials (BOM), validating proper documentation, and generating necessary paperwork interactions for supervision/production.
3. Conduct daily CAT Cable Testing and PITA testing, collect samples use DCM software to interpret results, and communicate findings to production and engineering teams.
4. Clear finished material for shipment and segregate material as necessary to maintain quality standards.
5. Pull production records at the East plant for quality issues (QNs), addressing and resolving issues promptly.
6. Handle various quality issues as they arise, supporting production employees and supervisors, answering questions, and ensuring proper documentation.
7. Conduct dock audits and special inspections for specified customers, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
8. File production records accurately, maintain organized documentation for easy retrieval and creation, maintain of RMA cage reviews and quality interactions.
9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the production supervisor, department manager, and QA leadership, contributing to overall operational excellence.
10. Must be self-motivated and able to perform tasks with little supervision, demonstrating exemplary work ethic and attention to detail.
