Description
Belstra Milling Co. is a family-owned agricultural business based in DeMotte, IN. Belstra is currently looking to fill an Ingredient Logistics Coordinator position at its feed manufacturing facility. We are committed to producing the highest quality, most nutritious feeds available. Additionally, as a proud certified Safe Feed/Safe Food facility, our manufacturing and quality assurance processes and standards exceed current industry regulations.
This position must work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Coordinate the placement of received ingredients when applicable
- Coordinate the movement of ingredients between plants
- Transfer ingredients and dump hopper bottoms as needed
- Move van trailers to certain docks and keep doors closed when necessary
- Load feed trailers and rolled corn
- Safely move van and hopper bottoms to different facilities
- Properly sweep out trailers after dumping
- Ensure that the Inventory Management System is being used
- Complete all appropriate paperwork
- Ensure that samples are being taken
- Properly close doors and tarp trailers
- Keep the yard and alleyways cleaned, swept and organized
- Report all equipment issues and all incidental damage
- Complete proper inspections on spot truck and report maintenance issues to manager
- Follow Belstra safety standards including proper PPE
Skills and Requirements (included but not limited to):
- Operate spot truck
- Operate fuel pump
- Read gauges
- Communicating
- Ability to regularly lift 60-pounds
- Climb ladders and stairs and work at heights with good body balance
- Work near moving mechanical parts
- Ability to work in dusty, cold, hot, humid, noisy environment
- Withstand exposure to seasonal weather conditions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- This position requires the ability to walk, kneel, bend, climb, etc.
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Previous feed manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Sunday Night - Thursday Night
- 8 pm - 5 am
$20-$21
