McComb Window & Door Co. is a family‑owned business established in 1930. It is the official distributor of Pella windows and doors in Indianapolis and Central Indiana, serving new home builders, remodeling contractors, commercial general contractors and owners, and retail/in‑home sales & installation. The painter will prepare Pella Window and Door products for finishing with stain or paint. Duties include disassembly, surface preparation, masking, staining or painting, reassembly, and repackaging. Precision and quality are essential as the company must match existing finishes and provide value to customers.

• Unpack product using a process that allows reuse of the original packaging material
• Maintain labeling integrity for barcode tracking and correct room location
• Disassemble windows and doors without damage
• Keep fasteners and parts organized for reassembly
• Stain to match approved color
• Apply sealer, primer and lacquer/paint in Garmat spray booth
• Sanding, cleaning and masking with high detail
• Reassemble and package finished products with professionalism
• Stage completed material to prevent damage and reflect warehouse software locations
• Drive safety, implement safe processes and foster a safety‑conscious team
• Comply with established safety policies and guidelines
• Complete additional departmental responsibilities as directed

• High school diploma or GED

• Adaptable to changing processes and priorities
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Routine heavy lifting up to 50 pounds with safe lifting techniques
• Ability to stand most of the shift
• Ability to use cordless drill, masking tape tool and hand sanding pads
• Knowledge of general construction applications, especially window and door
