Join a New Chapter in Sustainable Manufacturing Pro Services is hiring directly for a Polymer Center Maintenance Technician A at a newly opened Polymer Recycling Center (established March 2025). If you thrive in fast-paced environments and want your work to advance circular economy goals, this role puts you at the heart of the action.
A Night in the Life Your shift begins on a 2-2-3 rotation. You walk the line: conveyors hum, screens and balers cycle, grinders process a steady flow. You verify lockout/tagout, scan PLC diagnostics, and check VFD parameters. You tune pneumatic circuits, inspect hydraulics, and confirm voltages across 120/208/240/480 systems. A sensor misreads on the wash line—you troubleshoot the electromechanical fault, return the cell to service, and log the work order and field service report before moving on to scheduled PMs.
Later, you coordinate an install with a vendor, ensuring maintenance intervals and safety procedures are dialed in from day one.
What You’ll Own Keep polymer processing equipment running at peak performance across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Diagnose and repair conveyors, screens, balers, and grinders to maintain safe, productive operations.
Independently troubleshoot complex electromechanical issues.
Complete accurate field service reports; manage and close work orders efficiently.
Execute preventative maintenance to schedule.
Install and commission new assets; align vendor maintenance schedules and documentation.
Follow all safety policies and procedures rigorously, including LOTO.Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

A technician confident in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair.
5+ years in industrial maintenance (recycling or polymer processing experience preferred).
Bonus points:
welding experience, PLC programming exposure, and a valid driver’s license.
Additional plus: certificate from a mechanical, electrical, or trade school.
Pay & Schedule Pay: $37 per hour
Schedule:
2-2-3 night shift
