Location: Rochester

Solid Works Designer
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with one of our clients in the Rochester, IN area.

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: Starts at $20.00+/hr. (Pay based on experience)

What You'll Do:

• Create, modify, and maintain 2D and 3D drawings using Solid Works software

• Develop detailed designs and manufacturing drawings from customer specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering documents

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards

• Assist with design revisions and product improvements as needed

• Prepare and maintain documentation, bills of materials, and drawing revisions

• Support fabrication and manufacturing processes by providing accurate technical drawings

• Ensure compliance with company standards, specifications, and safety requirements

What You'll Bring:
• Solid Works design experience required

• Experience creating and modifying 2D and 3D CAD models

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes preferred

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, production, and quality teams

• Manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
