Team Leader – First Shift

FIRST SHIFT POSITION

• Assist all Team Members to successfully complete requirements for all production classifications.
• Keep work area clean, neat, orderly, and practice good housekeeping techniques.
• With the approval of the Area Manager/Team Leader and Q.C. Manager, authorise ceasing production if parts do not meet quality standards.
• Participate in process improvement teams working with parts as required.
• Assist Area Manager in ensuring that team members understand all work specific instructions and instruction sheets.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and report any safety concerns to the Area Manager/Team Leader.
• Report all mishits to the Team Leader/Area Manager.
• Ensure/assist Team Members in utilisation of the correct paperwork and completion accuracy including tags, uptime reports, set‑up, check lists, Production Logs/Flip Charts & production reports.
• Check to ensure last piece samples are completed by Team Members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements High School Diploma and/or GED preferred. Previous Team Leader experience preferred.

1 year:
Automotive Manufacturing Environment (preferred).

• Mechanical Power Press Operations (preferred).
• Plex Mfg Software (preferred).
• Good Communication & Written Skills (preferred).
• Computer Literate (preferred).
