Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Test Engineering Technician to join our Manufacturing Test Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing test systems, including Functional Circuit Test (FCT) solutions.

This position requires a strong foundation in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams in a regulated manufacturing environment. When you join us, you will work with a team of committed individuals who trust one another to deliver results. We value innovation and out of the box thinking, balanced with strong collaboration across functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Test Engineers to understand design requirements and support manufacturing test and Functional Circuit Test (FCT) processes
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair PCBA FCT fixtures and test stands, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) on test fixtures and test systems to ensure reliability, repeatability, and uptime
  • Support test system maintenance, including test PCs, instrumentation (DMMs, power supplies, switches), cabling, and interfaces
  • Diagnose and resolve fixture and test system related failures impacting production yield, efficiency, or throughput
  • Partner with Test Engineers to debug hardware and software issues related to FCT systems
  • Execute and document fixture verifications following maintenance, repairs, or design changes
  • Assist with fixture builds, modifications, and ECO implementations
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including PM records, repair logs, and calibration status
  • Work cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to test system failures
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Computer System Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Functional Circuit Test (FCT) systems in a manufacturing environment; medical device experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations.
  • Hands‑on experience using electronic test equipment (including multimeters and oscilloscopes), hand tools, soldering equipment, and assembly tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate test data, identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Self‑driven and proactive, with the ability to independently prioritize work, take ownership of issues, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with a manufacturing environment, including lifting equipment weighing up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automated test software, such as LabVIEW, Test Stand, or similar platforms
  • Experience working in a PCBA manufacturing environment, supporting production test, fixtures, or manufacturing processes
  • Basic programming or scripting exposure (Python, VB, C#, or similar) used for test support or troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and technical documentation
  • Experience working in an ISO 13485 or FDA regulated manufacturing environment
