Location: Indianapolis
The Manufacturing Assembly Associate plays a key role in process monitoring and optimization, quality control, documentation, equipment maintenance, training, continuous improvement, and compliance and safety.
This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of the Beckman Coulter Life Sciences Flow Cytometry Team located in Indianapolis, IN and will be an on-site role.
Responsibilities- Follow engineering drawings and Manufacturing Assembly Procedures
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly of instrument modules
- Perform assembly and module integration to complete final instrument
- High School degree or equivalent with at least 3 years’ experience
- Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Able to read and follow assembly instructions
Physical Requirements
- Will be traveling to Miami, FL to train for at least 15 to 20 weeks.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Use material handling equipment including hoists and hoist inspections to move parts and skids.
- Lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, walk, and perform other physical tasks.
- Experience in continuous improvement, such as participation in a kaizen project team.
- Manufacturing experience in an FDA regulated environment.
