Material Handler
Location: Indianapolis
The Position
The Material Handler performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Responsibilities include receiving and verifying incoming materials and supplies, preparing bills of lading and shipping manifests, routing shipments, moving material within the warehouse, filling customer orders and performing administrative tasks related to products/materials.
Responsibilities- Pick items by RF or voice picking and pack, ship, receive and maintain inventory of product/raw material, ensuring attention to detail.
- Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory.
- Accurately pull and/or pack products for customer orders ensuring lot numbers, shipping temperature, address and shipping methods are correct, potentially in different temperature environments.
- Receive all incoming materials at the correct temperature, inspect and compare with packing lists, bills of lading, purchase orders, report discrepancies or damaged goods, and document and label materials according to procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks such as coordinating shipments, preparing, reviewing, filling and maintaining customer orders, preparing shipping and receiving documents, and utilizing database to enter and maintain information related to products/material.
- Identify issues involving logistics, customer orders, shipping and/or receiving areas.
- May operate material handling equipment such as a forklift and man‑up order picker.
- Follow principles of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 13485.
- Maintain and continuously improve the quality system, achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
This is a fixed duration position for up to 3 years.
Minimum Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalency.
- 1 year of work experience.
- English proficiency required for safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic computer skills and competency using standard software packages (Word and Excel).
- Strong interpersonal skills, proactiveness, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills, problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math calculation ability.
- Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures.

Pay TransparencyThe expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $32,100.00‑$59,500.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and job‑related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
