Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets. This opportunity is for a Maintenance Electrician (3rd Shift: 10PM-6AM) at our Albion, IN manufacturing facility.

• Diagnose and repair electrical-related problems in accordance with standards of the electrical trade.
• Troubleshoot skills with the ability to repair and/or instruct others on necessary repairs with little to no supervision.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform all essential duties of Electrical Technician with strong Electrical, CNC, and Robotic experience.
• Understand and troubleshoot solid state devices and reprogram ladder logic; utilize software for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot and repair major problems with in-house equipment.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime to support production needs.
• Maintain good attendance and follow all safety policies and procedures; contribute to a positive team environment.
• Capable of assuming control of the maintenance department in the absence of the supervisor or group leader.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Electrical, CNC, and Robotic systems; knowledge of basic electrical formulas applicable to the job.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair in-house equipment and understanding of solid state devices.
