Sr. Scientist (R2-R3) – Lilly

• Provide technical support for the manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).
• Support technology transfer and process validation of manufacturing processes in external manufacturing areas.
• Execute technical projects to improve and optimize process control, yield, purity, and productivity.
• Perform process monitoring on manufacturing data to assess variability and identify improvement opportunities.
• Author and review technical documents translating process knowledge and control strategies into manufacturing documentation.
• Serve as frontline technical services and active member of process teams to achieve project and manufacturing goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Physical Chemistry or related STEM field.
• Minimum 3 years of cGMP API manufacturing experience from TS/MS or Development organization.
• 3 years of experience in small molecule API manufacturing.
• 2 years of experience in process scale‑up, pilot plant pharmaceutical manufacturing, technology transfer of small molecule synthetic drug substance, process validation and data monitoring.
• 1 year of experience in root cause analysis investigation at cGMP setting.
• Up to 20% domestic and international travel required.

Salary range: $99,424.00 – $ per year.
