Machine Operator
The Machine Operator fabricates parts by positioning or aligning work pieces against stops and guides or with dies; operating equipment; observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls; and replacing dies. This role is an important role in the construction of our portal saw mills and industrial equipment.
Essential Functions
- Set up and operate any assigned machine in manufacturing area.
- Read blueprint and fabricate part per print specifications.
- Inspect own production frequently using proper gauges or measuring instrument.
- Clean work area daily.
- Train other employees.
- Meet production goals.
- Count parts accurately.
- Lift 50 lbs. to waist.
- Ability to retain learned knowledge.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
- Stand 8 to 10 hours each day.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
