Responsibilities
- Supervising employees, including assigning job duties, ensuring KPIs and quality are met and recorded daily.
- Supporting and ensuring products produced meet Cellofoam quality specifications and requirements; completing daily production reports and shift paperwork as required.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.
- Supervising, verifying equipment set-up prior to the start of a production run, and operating and shutting down manufacturing equipment safely.
- Verifying order information and producing parts with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within required quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements while meeting productivity standards and on‑time delivery.
- Supervising shift, machine start‑up, monitoring operations, and recording operational data.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Coaching, developing, counseling, and disciplining employees.
- Performing other production duties as requested by Plant or Production Managers.
- Working in conjunction with other departments to resolve issues.
- Maintaining a positive work atmosphere with a culture of respect for others.
- Using appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding plant or employee concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate standards for business conduct and Federal antitrust laws.
- Adhering to Cellofoam North America Inc. company focus areas: safety, financial, customer, and people.

- High School diploma or GED.
- Associate Degree or equivalent leadership manufacturing experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to lead, direct, and train others to perform assigned tasks.
- Support and optimize production output driving continuous improvement.
- Mechanical: general knowledge of machinery and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to use and articulate measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, weigh scales).
- Quality control and analysis: conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Troubleshooting: determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- 1 to 3 years of prior experience in a manufacturing management environment.
- Organizational, communication, and team‑building skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to read and understand CAD and blueprints (preferred).
- Flexibility in working hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Floor production position – working in production environment majority of time.
- Overtime work may be required.
