6:30 AM- 3:00 PM (32-Hour Work Week + Fridays as Needed) Position Type:
Direct Hire Pro Resources is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturing company in Hartford City, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tooling professional looking for a long-term career with a company that values quality workmanship and offers a unique 32-hour work schedule. Responsibilities Build, repair, and maintain single-hit and progressive stamping dies Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications Set up and operate manual machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and shapers Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions Recommend and execute tooling design improvements Collaborate with engineering and production teams on new and existing tooling projects Support die tryouts and production launches Order tooling components, materials, and shop supplies as needed Create and maintain tooling documentation and drawings Qualifications Previous Tool & Die Maker experience required Experience with metal stamping and progressive dies preferred Strong blueprint reading and machining skills Ability to work with tight tolerances and precision measurements Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Mechanical Engineering degree or related education is a plus What We Offer Direct hire opportunity Competitive pay based on experience Consistent 32-hour work week Fridays worked only as business needs require (approximately half of the Fridays each year) Stable manufacturing environment Opportunity to work on a wide variety of tooling and die projects Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today to learn more about this outstanding career opportunity.
