Operator Formulator V – Indianapolis, IN

The Operator Formulator V will operate production machinery, troubleshoot processes, and collaborate with a global team at the 3M Indianapolis plant. This role requires operating production machinery, performing process adjustments, and utilizing PLC & MMI interfaces.

• Perform routine machine operation and maintenance.
• Recognize and diagnose process and product defects, troubleshooting and making necessary process adjustments such as temperature, line speed, airflow, positioning, centering, gap, etc.
• Operate pneumatic presses and punch‑out equipment.
• Use test and measuring equipment to ensure finished goods meet specifications.
• Utilize PLC & MMI computer‑controlled interfaces with equipment.

• High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start).
• At least 2 months of experience operating production machinery.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Work rotating shifts, overtime, extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Full‑time: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shifts available – Immediate hire for 3rd shift.
• Starting rate $22.77 + shift differentials.
