First Shift
Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost across manufacturing operations.
Analyze production and business processes to identify improvement opportunities using data-driven methodologies while monitoring KPIs including OEE, downtime, scrap, labor efficiency, throughput, and equipment performance.
Conduct root cause analysis using Lean tools such as Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, and other problem-solving techniques to eliminate recurring issues. Implement and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), SMED, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Develop, maintain, and update process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and standardized work practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
Train, coach, and mentor employees on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies while promoting a culture of operational excellence. Lead cross-functional teams to execute improvement projects, remove process barriers, and achieve operational goals.
Track project milestones, cost savings, productivity improvements, and KPI results, providing reports and presentations to leadership.
Partner with production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and operations teams to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
2–5+ years of manufacturing, operations, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, TPM, OEE, and production performance metrics.
Experience leading Kaizen events, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional project teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using Power BI, Minitab, or similar data analysis and reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and project management skills with the ability to influence change at all levels of the organization.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
